How ironic that this was Labor Day week when there was no rest for God's laborers......
Well, it has been quite a stressful week as we dealt with many issues & just when we thought that all was calm, we were blindsided & are now back to square one with my father-in-law!!
I told my sweet husband last night that it is a good thing that we have a very strong relationship after being together for 31 years as now I can see why people break up due to stressful situations in their lives, especially when you have no control over them!!
My always loving Jesus, my husband & our love that is stronger than anything else in life & our sense of humor keep us going!!
Our God shall supply all our needs...........
I thank my God for my husband every day as he is truly an honorable man that loves his family & I pray that God continue to bless us with good health so we can keep taking care of my father-in-law, plenty of rest, patience, yes Lord, lots of patience, but most of all, grace!!
May God's blessings be with you as you start a new week!! :)

Welcome To My World
I have always said that I want to write a book..........someday!! This is the beginning of my practice sessions!! :)
I am hoping that this will be my therapy as there are so many things happening in my life right now & I would like to share with all about the good, the bad & the ugly as well as all the blessings that my Lord Jesus Christ has given me in my life!!
Let me start off by asking you to pray for my family.
My husband has been taking care of his dad for the last 2 years at his home, but had to make a decision to take his dad where he could be cared for while my husband worked since his dementia is getting worse & his dad fell at home & dislocated his shoulder.
My father-in-law recently moved into an ALF & he did good the 1st week, but then started to ask for his car keys. We have told him that his dr said he can no longer drive due to his dementia, but he insists that he's a good driver. We gave him a copy of the dr's letter stating he can no longer drive, but he is calling 30-40 times a day & night asking for the keys. He called at 3:30AM on Friday & again this morning at 4AM.......
My husband is the best husband anyone can ever ask for & is a wonderful son. He has been so patient throughout this whole ordeal & I know that God's grace is what's keeping him from having a nervous breakdown. God says that he will never give us more than we can handle!!
I can't understand how his dad forgets what he was told 5 minutes ago or who visited him today, but doesn't forget his car?? I ask you to pray that God will allow him to forget about driving his car & give him peace in his heart.
I also ask you to pray that God gives us the strength to be there for his dad. We know that everything happens in our lives for a reason & God is in control. We have put our trust in our Almighty God!!
